I am on the 5th. day of a fast after doing a liver flush on saturday night. Got loads of stones. Was my 15th. liver flush.

I must add a few details.
I had for a long time lead a fairly debauche life.
i used to drink (alcohol) alot..for 30 years at a trot..gave up about 3 years ago..have been drinking off and on ..the last year or so.
was a heavy smoker..smoke much less now..but still smoke.

I am currently doing the orange juice fast. I did my 6th. liver flush on Friday and have embarked on the Orange/orange juice fast since saturday. I live in India. I believe the oranges we get here are not the same as the oranges you get in the states.
We get what we call oranges.. that are probably from the same family ..am not sure why they are not the same.. and we get whats called KENO ..which i believe is a mix/hybrid of two different kinds of oranges/citrus fruits... again not sure what it exactly is.. would these work like oranges for the orange juice fast?

I have been reading that a colonic is recommended after a liver cleanse. i don’t know of how to do this myself and don’t know anyone who does it here in india. Can you help me with what can i do as a substitute and is it absolutely necessary?

A couple of quick questions:
1. I understand from the book that Enemas are NOT recommended. I have read else where too.. views for and against enemas. What does one do????
2. What is TOO much weight.. How much is safe weight to loose..given my current weight ... about 230 lbs ... every day/ week .. please help???.. also should one do some kind of muscle building regime..weight training or such..while on the fast????

Just to add.. a bit..The intent is to detoxify and get rid of all toxins/ mucoid plaque / parasites / stones in the system ..not so much weight loss..which would hopefully be an added bonus.. and prepare one self for a spiritual journey.. with a detoxified - clean body ... and on to raw food only regime from there on.

I intend to go on a master cleanse..for a period of 20-25 days..my first attempt at a fast. I have slightly high BP .. 90/140 .. Age 48 .. Wt 230 lbs...
