The sitz without a tub is tricky. I just added about half a cup of ACV and half teaspoon really have no idea on the quantities, to the oil of oregano and the epsom salts. Its very effective. I would dab it in diluted oil of oregano. Some parasites larvae stage is to burrow and some end up through the skin. They usually are going from the lungs and veins attempting to get back to digestive tract. Be happy this one will not be that lucky. Sitz bath in epsom salts will also draw it out. Or a poultice with clay or an ironed cabbage leaf with some herbs like thyme and neem leaf or other like wormwood or black walnut or yellow dock. Hey a fellow doggy walker. Well hang in there. The longer you keep at the fasting the less of a chance the parasites have. It took me a while to figure out what was going on too. Two years of doctors brought me to a level of disfunction that I dont want to think about too much. pretty much closed me down. and after each drug i would start up even worse.and weaker. Good I look forward to the blog. I too did the barf thing. Be sure and stress the importance of the calcium phos balance. I have very humanized dogs all rescues which made them poor candidates for the raw bones. I found the chicken wings raw caused more tummy issues than I cared to deal with. So I now feed raw but no bones. Still give the raw meaty bones and buy organic when I can . Nice to meet a fellow dog lover. I learnt something new. That breed is not familiar to me but what a cutie.
