I understand fasting, what it does and how it works, but the only approach for me that has worked in just not eating bad foods is to view all foods (even fruits) as drugs. The bad foods are drugs in that they may make you feel good temporarily they are bad. Even fruits taste great and help us, but they too only serve to give us minerals or aid the body, they are not fuel.
