Maybe the companies know they can charge more for certain herbs because authors/media have hyped some herbs like red clover, ginsing, and all the exotic horny goat chinese herbs. It seems like the chinese herbs like Ginsing, Schisandra, and Reishi, are the most expensive. The major herb companies can sell some herbs dirt cheap but then others certainly get a premium. They must be trying to put the smaller herbal local business out. One herb will be from Poland, another Bulgaria, then India, then China, so it seems the main company is a global company.
