Re: Loquat1, sweetie pie, What's your Ph. D in?
Got it in one. How do you do it?
Amazing.
As for your friend, her PhD is in crayfish physiology, and her Naturopathy 'qualification' is straight out of a diploma mill. So ok, kudos for having a PhD in anything, but relevance to the medical field is at least moot.
For every supporter you can cite, I can respond with at least one detractor. The following are typical, and the www is awash with them:

On the premise that there is no smoke without fire, I'm gonna err on the side of caution and call quack on this one, pending some pretty convincing evidence to the contrary. I have absolutely no problem with you believing the sun shines out of her poop hole.
I'm all for starving the 'mainstream' of funds, but when those same funds are simply diverted to another form of quackery, we are the losers, not the mainstream. As soon as any 'altmed' starts charging $10's of thousands for their snake oil remedies, alarm bells start ringing very loudly inside my head.
Not to mention she died of....... cancer for goodness sake. Doesn't that fact alone tell you anything at all? Physician, heal thyself.
