I'm sure this is true to an extent, but how do you explain the Iodine disappearing within an hour or 2 in some people. Odds are it isn't just evaporating 10 times quicker on certain people. It seems pretty obvious that they are actually absorbing it quicker. Some is probably lost due to evaporation, but how come some people still have Iodine spots even 10 hours after application. It stains the skin and penetrates it deeply. I can't imagine the Iodine inside the skin is actually evaporating, especially after it has dried on the skin after the first minute or so after application.
