Re: Dry, peeling lips decyphering.

Yes, as Andreas and Lic mention, the problem of skin breakdown is often created or exacerbated by our faulty digestive abilities.

Either dosing appropriately w digestive enzymes, or seriously limiting or stopping our intake of protein, for a period of enough time, mabey a few days, but a week is better, for our system to start, or return to normal, can be a test to see if the breakdown is related to incomplete protein digestion. While all foods have some protein, the more complete protein foods, as we catagorize them, is what Im refering too here.

The protein we eat is not intended to pass the stomach before it is completly deconstructed into amino acids. If it does it is seen as a foreign invader by our immune system, which can complicate matters.
(This is one reason why fruit fasting can be so revitalizing and refreshing for all our systems also. see Arnold Ehret Rational Fasting books)

This is why some would find success w a liver flush, cause its assisting our gastric fluid output, which digests protein.

Alternativly speaking, fixing our skin health is most usually a sign of an internal system struggle more than a sign for topical treatments on any exterior bacteria causing breakdown, and evan if sophisticated cleaning works to alieveate a skin ailment, its often temporary.
