Do you think that knowledge helps or hinders your earth experience?

Furthermore....do you feel that spirituality or consciousness is something that is progressing toward any sort of end state?

Or rather, is it our manipulation of the physical world i.e. technological evolution that we have progressed so much that we are taking this idea/construct of evolution and overlaying it on top of our psychological/spiritual experience and then trying to evolve our consciousness?

It is my contention that we have not progressed or evolved spiritually/psychologically in any means. I dont believe this is even the proper way to view the issue at hand. We are starting from a view that we must evolve simply because that is what we have produced externally.

As Jiddu Krishnamurti said;

"The crisis is a crisis in consciousness, a crisis that cannot anymore accept the old norms, the old patterns, the ancient traditions.

And considering what the world is now with all their misery conflict, destructive brutality, aggression, and so on, man is still as he was: is still brutal, violent, aggressive, acquisitive, competitive, and he has built a society along these lines."

Man is as he was.
