I've been doing some research on postpartum depression since I encountered this issue with my last baby! Now that im almost three months along it's something I would like to try and avoid after this birth! It was very traumatizing for me and the baby. There is so much out there and opinions related to postpartum depression. One site I found was called Placenta Benefits! They actually promote and encourage women to dry and encapsulate there placentas after birth to consume stating that it will help prevent postpartum depression. Just wanted to here from the peanut gallery and opinions on this! They say that animals eat there placnetas after birth and that humans should too. Is there any merit to this or is it just insane! I have read testimonials of women who have had success with this treatment! Any opinions welcome! BAd or good!
