Last night I took a bath and added 3 drops of Oregano Oil to the water. Then I got in and stirred up the water to move around the Epsom Salts and Oils.
Took a long hot soak and eventually noticed a burning sensation on my butt & places on legs.
YEARS AGO I USE TO GET THIS AND TODAY CAN TAKE 3 DROPPERS WITH NO PROBLEM IN THE BATH.
Seemed strange and it started to get worse rather quickly. It was so bad I could no longer sit to do the cold part of my bath so I rinsed off cold and dried off.
On my legs and butt in several places are large round welts.
WELTS????????????? FROM 3 DROPS THAT SOUNDS PRETTY WILD, MIGHT HAVE BEEN BECAUSE THE EPSOMS SALTS.
Could this be some reaction from the Oregano not mixing up in to the water or does combining it with the Epsom cause this effect?
THE SALTS MAY HAVE ALLOWED THE OIL TO ENTER QUICKLY, EITHER WAY IT CAN'T DO ANY HARM.
I have taken other baths with both ingredients with no trouble only used a little less of the Oregano.
Thankfully I have the Burn Ointment you make and it offered pain relief inside of 20 minutes.
Any insight what I did wrong here would be appreciated.
OIL OF OREGANO AND MOST ESSENTIAL OILS HAVE ZERO ACIDS, NO HEAT, ETC....BUT WHAT DOES HAPPEN, THE SKIN WANTS TO STOP THESE OILS FROM ENTERING AND YOUR BODY MAKES AN ACID AND YOUR ACID ACTUALLY DOES BURN YOUR CELLS.
AS YOUR BODY RECOGNIZES THE OILS DO NO HARM, AS YEARS GO BY, YOU CAN CONSUME MORE AND MORE WITH ZERO BURN. I WILL SUGGEST THAT THE OIL WITH EPSOMS SALTS OPENED UP YOUR SKIN A LITTLE MORE THAN YOU COULD HANDLE ANDS YOUR OWN BODY BURNED YOU AND HOPEFULLY THAT HEALS VERY FAST AND NO DAMAGE REALLY DONE.
